About Me

What if the questions you're sitting with are already the beginning of something extraordinary?

I'm Saili Katebe, writer, performer, and workshop facilitator.

What drives me: Curiosity. I explore the world through poetry, collaboration, and questions that don't have easy answers.

What I'm looking for:

  • Commissions — Partners who want to mine for meaning through story

  • Workshops — Spaces to explore creative thinking together

  • Collaborations — Projects that follow curiosity across disciplines

How I work: I'm interested in shared exploration. My best projects start with open questions and honest conversations—where we both bring our curiosity and see what we discover together. The blank page becomes a space for possibility, not pressure.

I love the compounding power of exploring alongside others. We learn more, find unexpected connections, and create work neither of us could have imagined alone.

Let's explore something together.

The Work

  • Facilitating

I create workshops where we explore creative thinking together, from poetry and performance to the systems and habits that keep a practice alive. It's less about me sharing what I know, and more about discovering what we each bring to the table.

  • Performance

My performance work includes solo poetry and theatre pieces, cross-disciplinary collaborations with dancers, musicians, filmmakers, and theatre makers, plus a growing catalogue of shows and publications. I work across stages, film, and audio, wherever the work needs to live.

  • Commissions

What stories need to be told? I work on commissions that use poetry to explore ideas that matter, because we're always one story away from creating meaningful change.
